Bethany’s Artwork is presently one of the displays being featured at Breonna Taylor Exhibition: “Promise, Witness, Remembrance” at “The Speed Art Museum” Louisville, Ky. It is a beautiful and heartfelt memorial of Breonna Taylor in honor of her “life and legacy. It is also a tribute to her loving Mom/Mother Tamika Palmer and their “Family.”

About Bethany Collins: Is a local Chicago treasure, is a multidisciplinary artist whose conceptually driven work is fueled by a critical exploration of how race and language interact. Language is also a prism through which she explores American history and the nuance of racial and national identities.
About Dorian Nash: Is a playwright, author, & speaker. As Program Coordinator at The Smart Museum of Art, she fuel’s her love for art & connects with other artists to help realize their vision, but it is in her writing that she gets to create art. In high school at Longwood Academy Dorian’s love for writing was first realized.
“Many years later that Dorian truly embraced her gift as a writer.” She has also written, directed, produced 5 stage plays, her last play, “COUPLES, Secrets, Truths, and Love,” was a sold-out summer engagement in 2018. She is also the host of, The Mic Check, on the Inde TV Network. Her greatest accomplishment is being the mother to two amazing daughters, Taylor, and Maya.
