About Our Special Guest:

Apostle Taylor and Pastor Darlene currently serve as shepherds of Salvation Church for 22 years. Salvation Church is located at 75 East 83 rd Street, Chicago, Illinois. Apostle Jerry and Pastor Darlene are happily married for almost 40 years and have 3 sons and a daughter in love.

Apostle Jerry and Pastor Darlene strive to teach God’s word with a passion for worship and the presence of the Lord. They serve the community with food, clothing, and spiritual and natural needs. Apostle Taylor serves as the leader of the Apostolic Kingdom Network where leaders gather to sharpen their spiritual tools and raise funds for missions.

Apostle Taylor recorded 2 CDs – Unto Him and Smooth Gospel. He has authored the book entitled “What Are You Living For?” Apostle Taylor worked on staff with Luis Palau Ministry, a worldwide evangelist ministry.

Pastor Darlene is the leader of the God First Ladies Ministry where she encourages First Ladies to seek God first and to strive for an abundant life.

Apostle and Pastor Taylor previously served at the Apostolic Church of God for 17 years in various capacities as soloists, Adult Sunday School Superintendent, prison ministry, numerous choirs, youth service, nursing home ministry, and ministerial alliance.

Apostle Jerry and Pastor Darlene received their B.S. in Business at Illinois State University. They were ordained under the Pentecostal Assemblies Worldwide as elders.

Apostle Jerry Taylor was a social service manager and Pastor Darlene taught children for over 25 years. Their love for God and God’s people is what drives them to minister to the whole man with faith and expectation of the manifestation of God’s grace and favor on believers’ lives.
